Convenience Store donates over $3,000 to Portland Police Department program

Portland, Maine -- Cumberland Farms presents $3,407 to the Portland Police Youth Services Division to support the city’s latest initiatives to combat underage drinking. The donation will help fund a number of programs developed by the police department that give the city’s young people fun things to do, including “Friday Fun Nights.”

The donation is funded through Cumberland Farms’ participation in a retail promotion sponsored by Heineken. The Portland Police Department’s Youth Services program meets the mission of the Cumberland Farms Corporate Giving program: providing young people in our communities with educational opportunities, encouraging and celebrating better health for families, and supporting the efforts of social services.
