Company hosts fundraiser to support Project Graduation
(Norwich, CT – May 12, 2010) - Cumberland Farms today kicked off a month long fundraiser to benefit Montville High School's Project Graduation.
Until June 12th Cumberland Farms will donate 20 cents from every Chill Zone beverage and cup of coffee sold at 412 Laurel Hill Ave., Norwich, CT. The monies raised will support this year’s graduating class and also benefit Montville High School’s Class of 2011.
"Project Graduation is an independently funded school event," said Al Lyman, of Project Graduation. "We were pleasantly surprised to receive this generous donation from Cumberland Farms which will help our students celebrate an important time of their lives, in a safe but fun environment."
Cumberland Farms aims to raise at least $1,000 for Project Graduation.
"This school fundraiser is our way of saying thank you to Norwich and its surrounding communities for the support we have been given over the years," said Mr. Ari Haseotes, president of Cumberland Farms Retail Division. "It is our pleasure to give back to the students of Montville High School and make their lives a little bit easier."
